Margaret Garcia, Administrative Assistant

Margaret Garica is an Administrative Assistant at TRCS. She began working with us in the beginning of 2022. She enjoys talking to others and letting them know they are not alone in difficult situations. Margaret has had her own journey into mental health, which is what ignited a passion in her to work in this field.  

Margaret was born in Chicago and comes from a big family, she is the oldest out of 13 siblings. She left home at the age of 16. Shortly after, she became a mom at the age of 17 which pushed her to focus on finishing high school all while maintaining a job to provide for her daughter. After finishing school in 2004, Margaret moved to Florida.  For several years, she worked with DCF and in childcare.   

As much as she enjoyed working with children, she decided that she wanted to focus more on her family.  Margaret loves spending time with family and friends when she is not working. She enjoys arts and crafts, traveling, being a mom and a grandma. Margaret believes you should never judge someone because you just don't know what that person is going through.
